Woods of Parley’s Lane Open Space conservation easement property has a natural habitat of mature northern oaks and mountain shrub communities. This property protects open space located in an area of rapid housing and commercial development. Property provides easily accessible public recreation, and a scenic view-shed area from Interstate-80. Vegetation includes Gambel oak, bigtooth maple, snowberry, chokecherry, currant, serviceberry and big sagebrush. Vegetation on the property also helps support wildlife such as mule deer, moose, elk and a variety of birds.
