WILLOW CREEK OPEN SPACE
Protected in 2003
Acreage: 66
Summit County, UT

Willow Creek Open Space’s meadow lands, visible from local roads and residences, provides a visual relief from area development. Owned and maintained by the Snyderville Basin Recreation District, the area and public trails are a welcome easily accessed respite. The wetland habitat associated with the property’s meadows are among the highest priority for conservation for wildlife in Utah. Together with grass habitats in this area, they provide habitat for birds, bees, butterflies, bats and amphibians; sensitive species in the area known to choose habitat similar to that on the property include the Bobolink bird species.
