The Kem C. Gardner Midway Legacy Preserve sits adjacent to South Center Street, providing spectacular views along the entry corridor of Midway, granting first and last impressions of open space to visitors from near and far. Several intersections are within close proximity to this part of the Provo Canyon Scenic Byway, one of which connects to Wasatch Mountain State Park. In addition to its scenic value, the Preserve possesses natural, open space, riparian, recreational, educational, agricultural, and wildlife habitat conservation values. Osprey, This Preserve offers scenic relief from all directions, providing respite from ongoing expansion and growth. The planned trail running the south and east boundary length of the south parcel will also enable public access to recreational activities such as hiking. Further, the Preserve will be a gathering area and monument signage will provide educational value.
