Katherine is one of the newer members of Utah Open Lands and joined the team in June 2018. She works as the Conservation Associate, assisting with outreach, event planning and tasks around the office.
Katherine graduated with a degree in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Portland in 2015 and ran track for four years. After three years working at the University of Utah Neuropsychiatric Institute, she decided to switch gears towards environmental conservation. Katherine will continue on this path by pursuing her Masters of Science and Technology in Environmental Science at the University of Utah in Fall 2018.
When Kat’s not working or studying, she spends her time playing on rocks down south, or hiking the beautiful Wasatch.
