Irene C Sweeney, once a long time Emigration Canyon Resident, dedicated this prominent property’s viewshed to Utah Open Lands.  Along the Emigration Canyon Scenic Byway this preserve is adjacent to the Emigration Creek, which flows from its headwaters in Killyon Canyon to the Valley floor, and Salt Lake City’s watershed lands.  Viewed by bikers, hikers, and those traveling the Scenic Byway, this land will forever remain a benefit to the state of Utah, and the residents of Salt Lake City.
